In this January, people of Taiwan have experienced the coldest winter weather of this decade. The bitterness of this cold temperature was especially terrible during the Chinese New Year, which the temperature around Ten-sui area was recorded as low as only 3.50C. However, on Jan. 25, such dreadful weather would not deteriorate any bit of our local Rotarians’ enthusiasms to welcome the arrival of RI President, Mr. Jonathan Majiyagbe. Jonathan came to Taiwan from central Asia while transferred through Bangkok. Even though he miss a flight and arrived at CKS International Airport around mid-night, when he came out of the airport, there still standing four district governors and forty Rotarians from District 3500 Rotarians eager to welcome him with open arm. Immediately Jonathan demonstrated his exceptional charisma by shaking hands and taking photos with everyone at the scene. Such remarkable down-to-earth and charming personality explained why he had won every heart of Rotarians around the world. |
