In order to give the most direct and effective assistance to the NFI and their children, the 7 clubs of the Rotary Club District 3520 (Southwest, Southgate, Hwa-Lee, Hwa-Hsin, Hwa Yueh, Nanhwa and Chungmen) has prepared the “Foreign Mothers (New Female Immigrant) Educational Program” based on this year’s focus of “Family Value”, “Humanity Caring”, “Assisting Minority”, “Minimizing Illiteracy”.  This program will be held for three 8-weeks sections with supports from Awakening Foundation, whose continuous focus on NFI-related issues are recognized. The contents include the provision of information on medical care and child-raising, the guidance on how to communicate with their child, the explanation on the Taiwanese Grade 1-9 Curriculum, and the introduction on relevant communities resources. It is intended to minimize NFI’s obstacles not only while communicating with doctors, but also turns them into the important pushing hands in their children’s learning process through proper communicating skill learning and communities resource applications.
