TRF has always impressed and fascinated me. Its two main streams of activities: programs and fundraising is a fulltime commitment for us to promote and encourage clubs to support The Rotary Foundation--Our Foundation. We must create the sense of belonging.

Mario currently manages his own company that manufactures consumer food sauces.  He is a past member of Panama Certified Public Accountant Society and has served as chairman for various local business organizations, and is an active member on several professional and community organizations.

A Rotarian since 1977, Mario is a member of the Rotary club of Panama, where he served as club president in 1993-94. He was district trainer in 2000 and again in 2003-04.  He served as District Foundation committee Chair in 2001 and currently is District Polio Eradication Fundraising Campaign Chairperson.

自1977年成為扶輪社員，Mario是巴拿馬扶輪社的社員，於1993-94年度擔任扶輪社社長。他是2000年地區訓練人並於2003-04年度再次擔任此一重任。在2001年他出任地區扶輪基金委員會主委和目前是地區根除小兒麻痹等疾病募款運動主委。

Mario has also served as president’s representative at several district conferences.  He has participated in numerous organizing committees for district conferences, Rotary zone institutes, project fairs, and presidential conferences.

Mario is a major donor and Foundation benefactor. In his free time he enjoys collecting Panamanian currency and orchids.
