The Rotary Foundation provides me an opportunity, and like all opportunities I get out of it what I put into it. For me, it provides a heartfelt sense of fulfillment knowing that my service and my gifts have made a difference in someone’s life. Opportunities last a lifetime!

Joe has over 40 years of experience in fund development. He recently retired as Vice-president of the Eisenhower Medical Center Foundation in Rancho Mirage, California.  He was Assistant Administrator and Director of Development from 1976 to 1992 at Primary Children’s Medical Center as well as Director of Development at Intermountain Health Care, a not-for-profit chain of hospitals based in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He has served on the Board of Directors and as President of the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce, Board member and President of the Desert Estate Planning Council, and Board member of The Family YMCA of the Desert.

朱歐在資金研發方面有超過40年的經驗。前不久他從加州Rancho Mirage艾森豪醫學中心基金的副總裁職務退休。從1976年到1992年他不但是首要兒童醫學中心行政助理和研發主任而且是美國猶他州鹹湖城市一所非營利的連鎖醫院研發主任。他擔任Rancho Mirage商會理事與會長、Desert地產規畫委員會理事與會長和Desert的基督教青年會家庭理事。

        A Rotarian since 1968, Joe is a member of the Rotary club of Rancho Mirage where he served as club president in 1995-96. He served as his district’s annual fund chair (1997-98), Assistant Governor, and Foundation chair (2002-present). Joe represented District 5330 at the 2004 Council on Legislation.

自1968年成為扶輪社員，約翰是Rancho Mirage扶輪社員，於1995-96年擔任扶輪社社長。1997-98年度他擔任他的地區年度基金主委、(2002年至今)助理總監、扶輪基金主委。朱歐代表第5330地區參與2004年立法會議。

While serving as Permanent Fund National Advisor, Joe oversaw the highest number of gifts received in his zone.

 Joe is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, member of The Paul Harris Society, Foundation Benefactor, and a member of the Bequest Society. In his free time he enjoys photography and golf. 

 朱歐 是多顆保羅．哈理斯之友、保羅．哈理斯協會會員、扶輪基金永久基金捐獻人以及遺贈協會會員。閒暇之餘他享受著攝影和高爾夫球。
