Polio Eradication Heroes Fund

The Rotary Foundation Trustees donated a US$50,000 American Medical Association Award to a Polio Eradication Heroes Fund established by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The fund benefits individuals who were injured during polio-eradication activities, primarily in areas of civil unrest, as well as families of individuals who were killed.

根除小兒痲痺等疾病夥伴計劃是一個讓小兒痲痺國家的扶輪社員能夠協助小兒痲痺盛行國家社員的計劃，目前對這個計劃的捐款已超過2千5百萬美元。最近由巨金捐獻者傑克•布藍尼(Jack Blane)所捐獻的100,000美元，用來支持了安哥拉的全國免疫日。

Contributions to the PolioPlus Partners program, which enables Rotarians in polio-free countries to assist Rotarians in polio-endemic countries, exceed $25 million to date. A recent gift of $100,000 by Major Donor Jack Blane benefited Angola's National Immunization Days.
