One Rotary Center

國際扶輪辦事處正好位於芝加哥北方的伊文斯頓商業區內。扶輪在先前伊文斯頓的住處不夠用之後而於1987年購買了該建築物。該總部有來自41國家的500位雇員。

Rotary International’s offices are located just north of Chicago in downtown Evanston. Rotary purchased the building in 1987 after outgrowing its previous Evanston home. The headquarters houses 500 employees from 41 countries.

具有歷史意義的711室

Historic room 711

靠近主要接待區附近，這個房間是忠誠地重建了於北第爾本馬車街道上聯合大廈中Gustavus Loehr的芝加哥辦公室──是於1905年所舉行第一次扶輪例會的會所。

Near the main reception area, this room is a faithful reconstruction of Gustavus Loehr’s Chicago office in the Unity Building on North Dearborn Street — the site of the first Rotary club meeting held in 1905.

Here on the 17th floor hang the portraits of Major Donors to The Rotary Foundation.

該築物的最高樓層是國際扶輪社漲與祕書長辦公室。

The building’s top floor houses the office of the RI president and general secretary.

你能見到圖片和視訊。該辦公室，位於第13層樓，是研製扶輪形象的攝影師、電視錄影製作人、與技術工作人員的處所。

You’ve seen the pictures and the videos. This office, located on the 13th floor, is home to the photographers, videographers, and technicians that hone the image of Rotary.

小兒麻痹症等疾病雕像

The Polio Plus statue

剛好位於這個建築物主要入口的北邊，這個雕像描述一位扶輪社員正餵小兒麻痹症疫苗給一位兒童。是個讓扶輪社員喜歡拍照紀念他們訪問的地方。

Just north of the main entrance to the building, this statue depicting a Rotarian administering polio vaccine to a child is a popular place for Rotarians to have their picture taken to commemorate their visit.
