As I learned more about Rotary, I became all the more impressed, involved, and supportive of its ideals and programs.

有時人們問我，〝為何是扶輪？為什麼你認為扶輪是如此重要？〞─我有時覺得就如同在說明為什麼在人生的過程中有些重要的看法是很重要的。你如何解釋宗教信仰、婚姻或接受適當的教育是很重要的事情？

When people ask me, "Why Rotary? Why do you give so much importance to Rotary?"- I sometimes feel that it is almost like explaining why other key aspects in life are important. How can you explain the importance of religion, marriage, or of having a proper education?

扶輪可以從不同的文化層面及哲學的背景加以解釋，那麼你將會得到一個結論，那就是感謝扶輪，它把世界變更好同時扶輪社員在我們這一階層的人中是屬於比較好的一群。是的，當我回顧過去，加入扶輪是我人生的轉捩點…過一個較為充實的人生。〞

Rotary can be explained from different cultural and philosophical backgrounds, and you will always come to the conclusion that thanks to Rotary, this is a better world and Rotarians are better off for being in our ranks. Yes, as I look back, joining Rotary was the turning point of my life... For a better life.”
